April 26, 2025 is the 25th World Intellectual Property Day . In order to enhance young students' awareness of intellectual property protection and form an initiative in scientific and technological innovation, taking the "World Intellectual Property Day" as an opportunity, the Jiangsu Provincial Higher Education Library and Alliance of Excellence College Library held the "5th 'Southeast University·Super Star Cup' College Student Intellectual Property Knowledge and Skills Competition" . The specific events are as follows:
1. Participants:
Jiangsu Province, universities, universities of Excellence, Southeast University, and designated universities for the construction of universities and college students (including graduate students)

3. Activity format
①Training on basic intellectual property knowledge:
Before the individual competition, the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Southeast University provides online training on basic intellectual property knowledge through Tencent Conference, and the courses can be played back.
②Personal knowledge competition:
Participants on the individual competition day will answer questions through the "Learning Pass" platform and answer 50 questions online within 30 minutes. The top 65 contestants will be selected based on the total score and answering time. The top 15 will enter the professional skills team competition, and 16-65 will win the winning prize.
③Team Skills Competition:
(1) The 15 contestants who entered the team competition were randomly divided into 5 groups, and experts will conduct patent search and topic analysis and patent database usage training. Within 5 working days after the training, each group of contestants will complete a topic-set search report as required.
(2) On the day of the team competition, each group of contestants will report the search report for the topic through PPT, and the expert judges will score on the spot and determine the first, second and third prizes. There are 1 first prize group, 2 second prize group, and 2 third prize group.
