On November 20, Professor Li Dapeng, a member of the Nanjing Agricultural University Undergraduate Education and Teaching Review and Evaluation Expert Group and Vice President of Huazhong Agricultural University, visited our school library for inspection and guidance. Liu Yingjun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of our school, accompanied the inspection.
Guo Zhongxing reported on the support of the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) to undergraduate education and teaching in recent years with the title of "Close to the fundamental tasks, build four centers, and implement "simultaneous development of five educations" and "three comprehensive education" . He comprehensively demonstrated the construction results of user-friendly libraries from four dimensions: document resource construction center, future learning center, knowledge service center, and cultural heritage communication center. Guo Zhongxing said that on the new journey of building a world-class university with agricultural characteristics, librarians will always focus on creating altruistic value, adhering to the principles of users first, and mutual growth of teachers and students, closely following the needs of teachers and students, and working hard to achieve the goal of "you choose books, New progress has been made in aspects such as "library footing the bill", learning environment construction, AI-assisted scientific research, and book inventory systems.
During the inspection, Li Dapeng and his party visited the "Golden Monument - Mr. Jin Shanbao Memorial Exhibition", the Solo Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Room, and personally experienced the on-site book flash loan activity of "you buy the book, the library pays the bill".
Li Dapeng fully affirmed the work of our school library. He believes that our school's library has advanced management concepts and remarkable operational results, especially in terms of truly implementing student-oriented and user-friendly aspects, which are worthy of reference by peers. At the same time, he hopes that the library will focus on igniting the desire and enthusiasm for knowledge among students.
