In order to facilitate academic research and scientific paper writing in the library, information and information management majors of our school, on the afternoon of April 15, the library and the School of Information Management held subject-specific training, and launched the "Emerald Management Journal Full Text Library" for master's and doctoral students in the School of Information Management: Online training lecture on "Literature Retrieval and Submission Writing".

This lecture received strong support and help from Secretary Zheng Dejun of the School of Information Management. Emerald Company also sent two teachers to co-host this lecture, one responsible for teaching editing and publishing, and the other responsible for database usage training. The lecture clearly demonstrated the characteristics, advantages, update frequency and important journals included in the Emerald database, especially academic journals in knowledge management and information management. The speaker introduced and analyzed the research papers published in Emerald in the past five years in the fields of information services, knowledge management, knowledge services, etc. with examples. The retrieval cases shared included retrieval approaches, full-text acquisition, retrieval result expansion and other steps, and recommended A representative journal closely related to information services, knowledge management, and knowledge service articles.

The highlight of this lecture is about submission to core journals in Emerald: firstly, specific guidance is provided on paper writing, and the issues of concern to reviewers of Emerald SSCI journals are given in detail; the "logical" requirements for writing SSCI papers; the rules for writing social science papers Type and structure; even the requirements for paper layout, format and graphics are listed one by one; finally, suggestions for submission to core SSCI journals are given, as well as sincere guidance on how to deal with review comments.

After the lecture, the library will upload the PPT courseware and screen recording video courseware of Emerald's lecture to the library homepage for teachers and students to download and use.
