In order to carry forward the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education, implement the strategic deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on advocating and carrying out reading for all, and respond to the spirit of documents such as the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Aesthetic Education in the New Era" by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, Jiangsu The Reading Promotion Committee of the Provincial Library Society, in conjunction with the Reader Service and Reading Promotion Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial University Graphics Working Committee and the Professional Library Service Committee for Minors of the Jiangsu Provincial Library Society, launched the 2023 Jiangsu Province "Reading with Joy and Beauty" Aesthetic Education Works Collection Activity .

The event received a total of 1,306 valid entries from 83 libraries. Recently, the organizer organized experts to select 16 "Most Ingenuity Award", 18 "Orange Art Creative Award", 48 "Best Popularity Award", 20 "Excellent Work Award", 24 winners of “Excellent Organization Award”. The work "Reading Heals People" by Tan Minjiao from the School of Humanities and Social Development of our school won the "Most Original Award", and the work "Reading Without Borders" by Cha Xinchen from the School of Information Management won the "Best Popularity Award". Library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage), won the "Outstanding Organization Award".
