"Jiangsu Provincial University Precious Ancient Books Resource Database" is the first joint full-text image database of ancient books jointly built by universities in the province. The project is led by the Jiangsu Provincial University Library and Information Working Committee and includes Nanjing University Library, Nanjing Normal University Library, and Nanjing Middle School. It was jointly constructed by eight university units including the Library of Medical University, Suzhou University Library, Yangzhou University Library, Nanjing Agricultural University Library, Jiangsu Normal University Library, and Huaiyin Normal University Library.
In the first phase, a total of 95 836 volumes of precious ancient books collected by eight universities were released. A total of 100,049 images and book shadows were released, with detailed ancient book version information. Each book was accompanied by 6 important book shadows related to the version content, and was open to the public. , to facilitate scholars to compare versions. Among them, the particularly precious ones include the Song Dynasty edition of the Southern Normal University's "Ming Gong's Additional Revised and Annotated Southern History Details", the Tang Dynasty manuscript of the Southern Normal University's "Miaofa Lotus Sutra", and the Southern Traditional Chinese Medicine's collection of the Southern Chinese Medicine's "Shanghai Sutra" in the 51st year of Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1712). "Direct Interpretation", Su Dazang's Ming manuscript "Mr. Chengzhai's Yi Zhuan", Yang Dazang's Qing Dynasty red seal version "Dongguan Han Ji",Nannong Dazang's Ming Dynasty Jiajing three years (1524) Ma Ji's "Essential Art of Qi Min" , Jiang The National Normal University has a Qing Qianlong Bailushanfang movable type printed version of "Lingqi Jing", and the Huaiyin Normal University has a printed version of Gu's Qizhai's "Collection of Poems by Tang Wang Youcheng" from the 35th year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1556).
