The subject service achievements of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) won the first prize for outstanding papers in Jiangsu University Libraries

On November 18, the 2023 Jiangsu University Librarians’Work Conference and Academic Seminar on Document Culture and Future Learning, hosted by the Jiangsu University Library and Information Working Committee and hosted by the Suzhou University Library, was successfully held at Soochow University. The conference commended 6 outstanding papers from university libraries in Jiangsu Province, 3 outstanding books from university libraries in Jiangsu Province, and 3 outstanding cases from university libraries in Jiangsu Province. Chen Rongrong from our library won the first prize for outstanding paper.

This selection received a total of 99 applications from 43 universities in the province, including 60 papers, 8 books, and 31 cases. The subject service result "A bibliometric analysis of research on plant critical dilution curve conducted between 1985 and 2019" declared by our library was published in the European Journal of Agronomy, an international journal in the Q1 area. Subject services need to stay in touch with scholars and be demand-oriented.
