"Changing" a new look, "creating" a new environment—the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) promotes the optimization and transformation of the service environment in summer

The construction of a comfortable educational environment and reading space has always been the focus of our school's teachers and students, and it is also the focus of the library (Cultural Heritage Department) to ensure service and improve service capabilities. This summer, the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) actively solicited opinions from teachers and students, planned scientifically, and continued to make efforts in the construction of the space environment.

The central air conditioner in the Weigang campus library was built in 2004 and has been used continuously for nearly 20 years. The equipment is seriously aging and the system is often damaged, which has a great impact on readers. The library (Department of Cultural Heritage) completed the "Weigang Campus Library Central Air Conditioning Renewal (Phase Four) Project" in the summer vacation. So far, the central air conditioning in the Weigang Campus Library has been completely updated, bringing a little bit of coolness to the hot summer.

In the summer of 2022, the library (Cultural Heritage Department) has comprehensively repaired and remodeled the academic lecture hall to celebrate the 100th anniversary with a brand-new look. Since its opening, nearly a hundred various activities have been held, which has improved the service support ability of the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) to a certain extent. In the actual use process, the management team constantly sums up experience and pays attention to optimizing and solving the problems found in the use process. In the summer of 2023, we will cooperate with the Capital Construction Department to conduct a special study on the safety issues of the aisle steps in the lecture hall, test and implement solutions many times to ensure the smooth development of various activities in the new semester.

In order to further expand the influence of cultural education venues, it has laid a solid foundation for the development of venue work in the new semester. During the summer vacation, four adjustments and designs were made to the exhibition content of the school history museum. One is to change the original Wen Jiabao inscription on the wall of the middle hall to "Starting Sanjiang Guangyu Jinling Picture Scroll", which means "Three Rivers Flowing in Parallel". The second is to rearrange the previous leaders according to the organization and order of appointment. The third is to replace the outer frame of Jin Shanbao's oil painting, and move the oil painting to the first column of the exhibition hall, and at the same time update the important cultural relics exhibited by Jin Shanbao. Fourth, the Nanjing Agricultural University alumni and academician wall was added on the southwest side.
