In the afternoon of June 20, the 2023 Dragon Boat Race of the University Library Consortium in East Nanjing was held at the Xuanwu Lake Sunshine Dock Dragon Boat Sports Base in Nanjing, and the team of the Nanjing Agricultural University Library (Cultural Heritage Department) won the championship.

The Dragon Boat Race was organized by the library of Nanjing University of Science and Technology. The library of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the library of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, the library of Nanjing Forestry University, the library of Nanjing Sport Institute, the library of Nanjing Normal University, and the library of Nanjing Agricultural University (Cultural Heritage Department) were six teams. Each team was composed of 15 people, including drummers and rowers, and a total of 90 athletes participated in the race.

This dragon boat race has 6 waterways with a length of 300 meters. Before the race, professional dragon boat coaches from the dragon boat sports base will provide technical training. Everyone will study diligently and have great interest. With the start of the competition, the six teams competed on the Xuanwu Lake. The team members rowed hard and fought with high morale. The six dragon boats chased each other at full speed. Drums and shouts kept rising. The team from the library of Nanjing Agricultural University (Cultural Heritage Department) made concerted efforts and rowed in a neat and consistent manner, finally winning the first place in the dragon boat race.

This dragon boat race has promoted the fitness activities of the member libraries of the Chengdong University Library Consortium, cultivated the spirit of teamwork, built a bridge for communication and exchange among librarians, and encouraged them to devote themselves to their work with more enthusiasm.
