In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the Symposium on Cultural Inheritance and Development, on the afternoon of June 8, the Agricultural Heritage Department of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) organized some undergraduates and graduate students of our school to visit the ancient book library, and one came to check the information graduate students from Nanjing University also participated in the event.
Duan Zhiping, director of the Department of Agricultural Heritage, introduced the ancient books and rare books in the collection. The students listened to the introduction and read with great interest the treasure of the town hall—the copy of Ma Zhiqing's engraved edition of "Qi Min Yao Shu" in the third year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty. Some students said that this opportunity is rare. As undergraduates, they rarely have the opportunity to enter the ancient books library to see the precious ancient books. This visit has deepened their understanding and love for the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
