On the evening of May 26th, the Nanjing Agricultural University Library Volunteer Group Building Activity was held on the third floor of the library. The volunteers on duty at the student information desk, the representatives of the small teaching assistants for freshmen entering the library, and the assistant director of the library (Cultural Heritage Department) Nearly 30 people including Zhang Yong and the library instructor participated in the event.
Volunteers from different colleges gathered together. Although they are not familiar with each other, these outstanding volunteers with enthusiasm are not willing to stay in their "comfort zone". Under the leadership of the instructors in the library, they quickly got to know each other, cooperated with each other, and began to participate in the dumpling making competition, working together to make the most perfect dumpling feast.
Under the impartial evaluation by the teachers, six winners of "Most Beautiful Dumplings" and two winners of "Most Creative Dumplings" were selected in this dumpling-making competition. With the division of labor and cooperation of teachers and volunteers, the delicious dumplings were cooked quickly. Everyone sat around, enjoying delicious food, and talking about volunteer work. It was very lively, just like a big warm family.
Faced with the volunteers' curiosity about the library in Jiangbei New Campus, Mr. Zhang Yong introduced the construction ideas and interior planning and design of Zhang Zhiwen Library's user-friendly library. The beautiful and practical reading chairs, the spacious and comfortable space design, the convenient and efficient seminar room, and the fashionable and advanced new technology experience area all make the volunteers look forward to the new campus library.
As the graduation season approaches, some students in the volunteer team are about to graduate. At this special moment, three graduate volunteers, Xie Guoyu, Wang Ruoxuan, and Weng Yaning, shared their harvest and growth journey when they joined the library volunteer team. The library instructor fully affirmed their work and shared with other volunteers Let's send them best wishes. Zhou Fu, the instructor of the information desk, said that they have put in great efforts and contributions in volunteer service. Even if they leave, their spirit and influence will continue to exist and inspire more people to join the ranks of volunteers.
