On May 20th, in order to further enrich the school's mass sports activities, enhance exchanges, promote physical and mental health, and activate campus culture, the school union and the sports department held the 2023 table tennis competition for faculty and staff. After registration by pre-librarian members, the library ( The Ministry of Cultural Heritage) trade union formed a 4-person team consisting of Guo Zhongxing, Hu Yitao, Zhou Fu, and Ding Qing to participate in the competition. After fierce competition, the team finally won the eighth place.

This competition is a relatively large-scale table tennis competition organized by Nanjing Agricultural University in the past three years. It was held in the main hall of the school sports center. A total of 21 teams from various departments and units participated. In the first stage of the team competition in the morning, the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) team competed with the Agricultural College team, the Animal Science Academy team, the Plant Protection Second Team, the Grassland Academy team, and the Information Management Academy team. The Library (Cultural Heritage Department) team competed with each other. The second place in Group D qualified and successfully advanced to the top eight. In the afternoon finals of the second stage of the team competition, after a tense duel, the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) team finally won the eighth place in the final team.

It is reported that in order to participate in this school-level competition, the library (Cultural Heritage Department) trade union prepared in an orderly manner, received strong support from the party branch and the leadership team, and actively encouraged members to participate, "only those who love table tennis will win."
