On the afternoon of May 17, 2023, the 2nd Nanjing Agricultural University "The Most Scholarly Can Go Far" Reading Marathon Contest will be held on Weigang Campus and Pukou Campus at the same time. 112 contestants signed up for the competition, and the whole event was broadcast live online, co-hosted by Ren Huamei from Weigang Campus and Ding Qing from Pukou Campus.

He said that the reading marathon combines the inspection of reading speed and quality, and is a challenge to the participants' personal concentration and willpower. Different tracks have different scenery. He hopes that the participants can feel the same The fun of reading together, and hope that through the holding of the reading marathon competition, more students will pay attention to reading and participate in it.

The reading marathon officially started at 2:30 pm. The 112 contestants from the two campuses immediately devoted themselves to reading. The contestants looked serious and focused. Some were contemplating, some were flipping through books quickly, some were reading with their heads buried, and some were reading while taking notes. At this moment, the whole world seemed to be quiet , all the bustle, hustle and bustle and temptation have been far away, only the rustling of flipping books.

This reading marathon has four tracks: Red Classic Track, Nobel Prize Literature Track, Youth Book Track and Science Fantasy Track. Each track corresponds to a different book. The title of the book will not be announced in advance. In a group, each person in the group chooses a track. The competition requires contestants to finish reading the track book within 4 hours (at least 2 hours) and answer the questions to get a certificate of completion. The questions are divided into objective questions and reading reflection cards, which are answered separately and the total score is recorded. The competition sets up group awards and individual awards at the same time. The top three in each track are awarded individual awards, and the top four teams with a total score are awarded group awards.

During the interview after the competition, many contestants said that the reading marathon competition experience was very good, and they also enjoyed the competition process very much. Use complete long-term reading to experience a completely different feeling from daily fragmented reading. Yang Haozhe, a student from the red classic track, said that "Plain Talk to People" uses vivid examples and allusions full of wisdom to present 12 stories and 12 themes, which has enabled him to obtain double sublimation of culture and party spirit.
