With the opening of the new library on the first floor of the Pukou branch library, about 50,000 new books will be put on the shelves in the new library in 2023. The Pukou branch library is facing a situation of heavy workload and tight human resources. On the afternoon of March 24th, the Volunteer Department of the Youth League Committee of the School of Information Management—the Honghui actively assisted the Reader Service Department of the Pukou Branch Library to put 3,000 new books on the shelves, and launched the first volunteer activity.

It is reported that in late February, the first and sixth party branches of the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) and the undergraduate party branch of information management and information system of the School of Information Management jointly built and organized book collection activities in the Pukou branch, providing for the library (cultural Department of Heritage) and the School of Information Management have laid a good foundation for the joint construction. The Youth League Committee of the School of Information Management stated that it will continue to assist the reader service of the Pukou Branch Library to carry out related voluntary activities and spread the spirit of voluntary service.
