The Reader Service Department Holds the First "Reading Recommendation Officer" Symposium

On the afternoon of March 15, Tong Yunjuan, director of the Reader Service Department, called the college liaisons to hold the first symposium for Nanjing Agricultural University reading recommendation officers in the conference room on the seventh floor of the Weigang Campus library. The meeting was chaired by Tong Yunjuan.

This symposium revolves around the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) promotion service of "you choose the library to pay for the book". In order to optimize the purchase of library books, the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) cooperates with book suppliers to improve the quality of the library's paper library collection by means of readers purchasing and borrowing through the network platform. This innovative measure intends to open the purchasing power of book resources to readers, so that as many readers as possible can participate in the book purchasing work, so as to achieve the goal of pooling wisdom and optimizing library collections.

First of all, Tong Yunjuan introduced the meaning of "reading recommendation officer" to the students, and explained in detail the work content, duties and obligations, and incentive system of the "recommendation officer". The first batch of reading recommendation officers are liaison persons from the 19 colleges of the school. They are recommended candidates from the student union of the school or enthusiastic readers who love the library.

Afterwards, the students put forward their own questions and suggestions on the use and recommendation of the "you choose the library to pay" platform. Tong Yunjuan answered questions and thanked everyone for their good ideas such as holding various reading activities, setting up posters on campus roads, and placing promotional cards on reading tables.

Finally, Tong Yunjuan made a summary of this symposium. She hoped that the students would actively promote the platform of "You choose the library to pay for books" by using Moments, classmate groups, and class announcement groups, and hoped that more readers would participate in the "For Books" Choose books from the library, choose books for yourself". Let the library play a greater role in the work and study of all teachers and students.
