At the beginning of the new semester, in order to solve the contradiction between the growth of the book collection and the lack of space, and improve the operation and service capabilities across campuses, the library party and government have attached great importance to it. The multiple cross-campus collaborations that lasted for more than one month have comprehensively improved the collection layout quality and cross-campus service capabilities of the Pukou campus library.

On February 21 , Tang Huiyan, Deputy Director of the Library (Department of Cultural Heritage), led a team, and some librarians from the Reader Service Department of the Weigang Campus Library, came to the branch library of the Pukou Campus to jointly build business with the Reader Service Department of the branch library. After the plan was formulated, the first and sixth branches of the library were jointly responsible for tackling the tough tasks. On February 24 , the No. 1 and No. 6 Party Branches of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) joined forces with the Information Management and Information System Undergraduate Party Branch of the School of Information Management, and all the librarians of the Pukou Campus branch to carry out the Party Day co-construction activities. The layout of the books in the first reading room of social sciences in the branch library has been adjusted and the book guides have been sorted out.

On March 10 , relevant personnel went to the Pukou campus again to carry out the whole work. After 3 times of concentrated labor and some phased assaults, a total of more than 68,000 books were sorted and moved , and the entire book shelf position became more reasonable, neat and beautiful, laying a good foundation for efficient book search and new book shelves.

Director Guo Zhongxing believes that these very basic tasks are of great significance to the perfect integration of multiple campuses! The teachers and students who participated in the activity are a model of working together to promote farming and reading education, and they also laid the foundation for the realization of dynamic collections and cross-campus collaborative services in the future.

After work, the librarians of the two museums visited the Jiangbei New District Planning Exhibition Hall together. Everyone has a deeper understanding of the Jiangbei New District, and is looking forward to the opening of the Jiangbei New Campus of Nanjing Agricultural University.
