Platform introduction

The full name of JSTOR is Journal Storage. It started in 1995 as a digital collection project of the Meilun Foundation to digitize outdated periodicals, and then became a non-profit organization. Currently, JSTOR has 4,703 participating members from 138 countries, and 533 participating publishers. JSTOR's full-text library is a full-text library of representative academic journals in more than a dozen fields, centered on political science, economics, philosophy, history, art and other humanities and social subjects, as well as general scientific topics.

1. The newly added 7 sub-libraries are:

JSTOR journals come from publishers of universities, commerce, professional societies, university departments, museums, and some independent publishers. Most of the content starts from volume 1 and issue 1, dating back to 1665 at the earliest.

1) Arts & Sciences I/Theme 1 of Humanities and Society. This album was established in 1997. It is the first album released by JSTOR. It includes important journals such as economics, history, political science, sociology, humanities and social sciences. In addition, it also includes some fields related to basic science such as ecology, mathematics and statistics.

2) Arts & Sciences IV/Humanities and Society Theme IV, this album focuses on the collection of periodicals on business economics, education, and legal professional topics. It also includes psychology, public policy and management.

3) Arts & Sciences VI/Humanities and Society Theme VI extends the subject areas included in JSTOR, including economics, education, linguistics, political science and regional studies. And the journals included in this selection are more international. JSTOR has more diversified content in the fields of business theory, advertising and risk management, including publications published by world-renowned institutions such as the National Bureau of Economic Research (National Bureau of Economic Research), the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

4) Arts & Sciences IX/Humanities and Society Theme IX, which collects and distributes periodicals from 25 national publishing houses. It focuses on business management and social science topics. Its content is unique and in-depth. The research topics included include archaeology, Anthropology, sociology, business administration, economics, population studies, and cultural studies across subject areas and diverse regions.

5) Arts & Sciences X/Humanities and Social Topics Ten, covering a wider range of topics in business, social sciences, sociology, education, public policy & administration, history of science, technology, and medicine. It also cross-collects the fields of business, economics and finance in the third business theme, and introduces new disciplines such as transportation research and development research for the first time.

6) Arts & Sciences XII / Humanities and Social Topics Twelve, for topics with high usage rates and broad appeal to higher education units at all levels - education, law, political science, sociology, criminology, social work, psychology and Asian Studies. Includes journals from the American Bar Association, Brill, Lynn Reiner, and Springer.

7) Ecology & Botany II Ecology Theme II, which includes important publications from various institutions around the world, such as Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew; Naturhistorisches Museum; Società Italiana di Patologia Vegetale, Ecological Society of America, and International Association for Plant Taxonomy, etc.
