On the afternoon of November 23, 2022, the first Nanjing Agricultural University "The most scholarly can go far" reading marathon contest started smoothly. This competition follows the model of the Yangtze River Delta Reading Marathon®️. It combines the examination of reading speed and quality, requiring contestants to read a specified book within a specified time and complete the test. Through this competition, the library (Department of Cultural Heritage) brought reading from the private field to the library, and showed the strength of Nannong people's reading to the teachers and students of the school, which is also the significance of readers participating in this reading marathon competition.

This reading marathon has three tracks: the red classic track, the Nobel Prize literature track and the youth book track. The books on the track will not be announced in advance. The College Student Reading Association organized contestants to sign up online, and after joining the QQ groups for the competition in the two places, the contestants chose their own track. Through layers of screening, 85 contestants from Weigang and Pukou finally participated in the competition.

In terms of the competition system, this competition requires contestants to finish reading the track book within 4 hours and answer the questions. The questions are divided into objective questions and subjective questions. The contestants answer on the spot and record the total score. At the same time, the team counts the total score for ranking .

During the reading process, Chen Ligen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, and Guo Zhongxing, Director (Minister) of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) also visited the site of the first "The Most Bookish Can Go Far" Reading Marathon Weigang Competition. Chen Ligen pointed out that this reading marathon competition is very meaningful. Through this competition, students can use their youth to write and start for the future. This activity not only gathers the reading power of Nannong people, but also explores the linkage development of multiple campuses. road. In the last two campuses, every runner who finished the race received a certificate of completion for the reading marathon. Each track will also select 4 groups of group winners and 10 individual winners. After each group of contestants finished the competition, a special person would interview them, asking them to talk about their feelings about participating in the competition.
