On the occasion of the opening of the 14th reading month of "Poems and Books in China", on November 21, the " Appreciation of Masterpieces of Wayfinding System Design" theme exhibition was exhibited in the lobby on the first floor of the Pukou branch.

Wayfinding design is an intermediate discipline between traditional architectural design and visual communication. Its basic function is to help people move smoothly in an orderly, directional and targeted manner. When holding major international events, the integrity and creative concept of the public guide system can better reflect the development of social civilization and design level.

The Zhang Zhiwen Library on the new campus of Nanjing Agricultural University has attracted the attention of all teachers and students. With the completion of the main body of the library building, the design of the visual guidance system of the Zhang Zhiwen Library will also be put on the agenda. Taking this opportunity, the teachers and students of Liugu Design Studio combined their research topics and made use of their professional knowledge to pave the way for the preliminary research of the library's visual guidance system and compiled a research report. This is a very meaningful work.

From a large number of design cases of wayfinding systems at home and abroad, this exhibition selects a total of 24 topics related to libraries, art galleries, and museums. These design schemes that have been put into use show different styles, with the characteristics of visualization, humanization, intelligence and emotion, which are very inspiring. The exhibition will last for one month. Teachers and students are welcome to visit and offer suggestions for the guide design of the new campus library.
