The activity was strongly supported by Xuanwu District Emergency Management Bureau, Xuanwu District Fire Rescue Brigade, Xiaolingwei Police Station and other units. The opening ceremony of the event and fire safety training were organized, and then fire training and emergency evacuation drills were organized in the library building. More than 500 teachers and students who worked and studied in the library successfully completed the fire simulation actual combat drill.


At the opening ceremony of the event, Cui Chunhong, director of the security department, introduced the current fire safety situation and status quo of the school, and emphasized that on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the founding of the school, we will take the creation of a high-quality and safe campus as the starting point, and actively do a good job in school fire safety publicity and safety. Instructor Xu Hai of Zhongtong Fire Emergency Rescue Commando explained the basic knowledge of fire protection and first aid to everyone.
After the training, the staff of the pavilion took their place as safety guides. After the participants arrived at the drill site, the simulated fire point "fired", the on-site alarm sounded, and the fire alarm in the building was linked. Under the guidance of security guards, all library staff and readers in the library were evacuated in an orderly and rapid manner from the east and north gates of the library building, which was billowing with smoke. , count the number of people, and check whether there are any injuries.


Afterwards, teachers and students jointly conducted emergency rescue and fire fighting drills. At the scene, Mr. Su Haiyan from the Zhongtong Fire Emergency Rescue Commando team was invited to show the wounded head injury, fracture dressing, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other rescue skills for teachers and students; with the assistance of the commando team, teachers and students were organized to use dry powder fire extinguishers, fire blankets, buckets, etc. There are various ways to put out the fire, and the scene also shows the use of fire bombs, water-based fire extinguishers, and fire extinguishers.


After the event, Zhu Shigui, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Library (Department of Cultural Heritage), commented on the fire safety event, and believed that activities such as evacuation fire-fighting drills and first aid exercises were very important to prevent and deal with emergency emergencies. In the key parts of fire safety, the staff of all positions in the drill can clearly define their responsibilities and assume their own responsibilities.
