On June 18, 2022, the Zhang Zhiwen Library, which Nannong teachers and students were looking forward to, was successfully capped. In order to further promote the construction of Zhang Zhiwen Library, improve the service level of the library, and learn from the construction experience of various excellent libraries at home and abroad, the special working group for the construction of Zhang Zhiwen Library initiated the theme of "Reading a Book Together, Concentricity" The librarians reading activity of "Building a New Library".

Activities are scheduled as follows:

1. Designated books to read together: "Fragrant Rain: Ten Years of Southern University of Science and Technology Library"

Introduction: This book contains a total of 25 articles, which comprehensively reflect all aspects of the library of Southern University of Science and Technology from management concepts to specific practices, from overall planning to the investigation and implementation of key projects. The work experience, the stories of readers and the library, etc., combed the development process of the library of Southern University of Science and Technology in detail in the past ten years, showing the readers the process of a library from scratch, from small to large, from weak to strong. This book is not only a review and commemoration of the library of Southern University of Science and Technology for its ten-year growth history, but also a book that reflects the hard work spirit of the library people. This book can provide a positive learning example and reference sample for library practitioners and those who care about the development of library careers.

2. Participating objects: All serving librarians of the library (Cultural Heritage Department)

3. Registration period: from now until August 6, 2022

4. Registration method: Librarians fill in the registration form by scanning the QR code after the text. The working group will present a book titled "Fragrant Rain: Ten Years of Southern University of Science and Technology Library", which will be couriered to the designated address.

5. Participation requirements: Participating librarians promise to submit a reading report of no less than 500 words to Teacher Ding Qing (14385587@qq.com) before August 20. The content may include but is not limited to: after reading, new library design ideas, library culture construction, library service content assumptions, business process transformation and optimization, etc.

6. After the event, the evaluation team will be organized to evaluate the submitted reading reports, and corresponding rewards will be given according to the evaluation results.

Here, I hope that the librarians will actively participate in the shared reading activities, let us learn together, make progress together, and jointly make suggestions and contribute to the construction of a world-class agricultural university library.
