The library successfully launched the "electronic signature" online service for novelty and citation search

Science and technology novelty search, collection and citation is a scientific and technological consulting service that supports scientific research and provides third-party certification for project establishment, awarding, innovation and entrepreneurship, and job hunting. In order to improve the efficiency of serving teachers and students inside and outside the school, respond to the call for "less contact" of the epidemic, and meet the service needs of running a school in a multi-campus environment, in October 2021, the library and the Information Construction Center launched a search for citations and scientific and technological novelties. For the construction of the electronic signature online business system, the reference and consultation department arranged for a team of special personnel to participate in the design, development, deployment, testing, improvement, and small-scale pilot work. It will be officially launched on July 1, 2022 (website: http: //chaxin.njau.edu.cn ). Through the electronic signature system, teachers and students have achieved the work goals of "running one leg less", "running once at most" and "not running once".

It is reported that the electronic signatures are "Special Seal for Science and Technology Novelty Search of Nanjing Agricultural University" and "Ministry of Education Science and Technology Novelty Search Workstation (N03)". The authenticity and reliability of the electronically signed report have the same legal effect as the paper version. The entrusting party only needs to enter the subject novelty retrieval and retrieval retrieval website of Nanjing Agricultural University Library, and submit the retrieval retrieval or scientific and technological novelty retrieval contract entrustment form and basic information online as required. Time acceptance, after the completion of the scientific and technological consultation report, after confirmation and review by the user, an electronic signature report can be generated online, and the final report will be notified to the user by SMS and email.
In the recent pilot application, teachers and students from Nanjing Forestry University and the School of Engineering of our school participated in the first batch of services. After they submitted their applications, they did not need to go to Weigang campus for processing, which greatly reduced the cost of communication and time, and gave them unanimous praise.

The use of the electronic signature system is not only convenient for the entrusting party, but also reduces the burden on the staff. The application of the electronic signature system eliminates the tedious steps of downloading, printing, manual signing, scanning, and taking pictures, making the work of new searchers more efficient and convenient. It greatly improves office efficiency while saving office costs. The establishment and use of the electronic signature online service platform provides users with a more convenient online service experience. In the follow-up, the library will continue to actively explore the construction of key disciplines and characteristic disciplines in serving schools to improve quality and efficiency.
