In order to welcome the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 120th anniversary of the school's celebration, show the glorious history of the party recorded in the archives, and play the valuable role of the archives in witnessing the development of the school, the library (cultural heritage department) closely focuses on the National Archives Administration and the Archives "Welcome". The theme of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Glory of Archives, and actively organized a series of publicity and education activities for the "6.9 International Archives Day".

1. Conscientiously organize and study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of instructions on archives work, and strengthen the responsibility for the party's management of archives

Archives work is an important undertaking to safeguard the true history of the party and the country and protect the fundamental interests of the people. General Secretary Xi Jinping has always attached great importance to the development of the archives undertaking. As early as when he was working in Zhejiang, he pointed out that“archives work is a very important job, and experience can help us understand the importance of archives.”In conclusion, the understanding of laws, the continuation of history, and the development of various undertakings are all inseparable from archives, and the goal of archives work to govern according to law, open up, and modernize is clearly put forward.”On the occasion of "6.9 International Archives Day", the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) pushed the series of "General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Instructions on Archives Work" on the official WeChat account of the department, and organized relevant study and seminars to call on the majority of archivists Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on archives work, enhance archives awareness, seize the opportunity of implementing the newly revised "Archives Law", have the courage to take responsibility, make unremitting efforts, and strive to create A new situation in school archives work.

2. Mining archives resources and actively organizing and carrying out the“Stories in Archives”essay solicitation activity

In order to welcome the 120th anniversary of the founding of the school, carry forward the excellent culture of the school, and give full play to the function of archives to preserve history and educate people, our school organized and carried out the "Stories in the Archives" essay writing activity. Through extensive online and offline publicity, a total of 75 essays were received. Those who participated in the writing activity included retired old comrades, in-service teaching staff and students. The writing content involved school historical figures, outstanding educators, school historical buildings and so on. The school awarded special awards for the outstanding essays of 5 old comrades. A total of 5 first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 12 third prizes were selected, and outstanding works were published on the school’s public WeChat account and school newspaper.

3. Organizing special studies to create a cultural atmosphere of campus archives

During the "6.9" International Archives Day, the State Archives Administration held an online special lecture, inviting Zhang Zhanbin, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and dean of the School of Marxism of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (National School of Administration), to welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. A special lecture was given on the topic of "Building a New Development Pattern". The Archives will publish lectures and study notices on the school's official website, archives work WeChat group and other channels in advance, and invite full-time and part-time archivists of the school to participate in the viewing. In the morning, all the staff of the archives watched the report on time in the conference room on the seventh floor of the library. The report was presided over by Zhang Kun, deputy secretary and deputy director (deputy minister) of the general party branch of the library (cultural heritage department), and Zhu Shigui, secretary of the general party branch. attended the meeting.
