In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on archives work, actively organize and carry out the theme propaganda activities of "Welcome to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China•Celebrate the Glory of Archives", show our school's 120-year history of running a school, activate the school's archives cultural atmosphere, Practical actions to welcome the 120th anniversary of our school. After research, it was decided to organize the Nanjing Agricultural University "Stories in the Archives" essay collection activity to all teachers, students, staff and alumni, to excavate and display our school's long-standing archival culture and construction and development achievements, and to actively play The archives have the functions of keeping history, supporting administration and educating people.
All units and colleges are requested to seriously organize the Nanjing Agricultural University "Stories in the Archives" essay contest. The school will organize experts to conduct evaluations. The selected outstanding works and the number of awards will be determined according to the collection of works, and will be held in this year's 6.9 International Recognition awards will be made during Archive Day.
The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
一、Creation requirements
1. Adhere to the correct orientation, in accordance with the requirements of "preserving history, resources, government and educating people", use archives culture to cultivate, inspire, cohere, motivate teachers and students, and help the high-quality development of the school's various undertakings.
2. Adhere to seeking truth from facts, so that the story "originates" from archives, work and life, and the content is authentic and credible.
3. Pay attention to the appeal of the work, and strive to have both pictures and texts, touching plots, vivid descriptions, strong readability, and historical and practical value.
4. Respect intellectual property rights, abide by relevant laws, and all archives and documents (including photos) used should indicate the source.
5. The length of the submitted works should be 1000-2000 words. The main title should be in Song type 3, the subtitle should be in bold 4, and the text should be in Song type 4. Pictures (JPG format) are provided separately.
二、Classification of works
1. Red Memory: It tells the story of Nanjing Agricultural University's party organizations at all levels leading and organizing teachers and students to publicize scientific truth, carry out revolutionary struggles, and promote the construction and development of the school.
2. Characters: Tell the stories of famous teachers, famous teachers and famous people who have made great contributions to the country, society and school in the history of the school.
3. Review of school history: Tell the stories of landmark events or characters that occurred during the school's construction, reform and development.
4. Family and country feelings: tell the stories of alumni or teachers, students and employees who are not afraid of hardships, selfless struggle, sacrifice and dedication for the interests of the party, the country and the people.
5. Shi Haigou Shen: Use archives to restore the historical truth, so that more people can understand the beginning and end of important historical events in the school or the memory stories of characters.
6. Climbing the Peak and Winning the Championship: Telling the stories of teachers, students and alumni in education and teaching, scientific research, serving the society, cultural heritage, etc. .
7. Rare archives and secrets: tell the precious archives with high historical and cultural value preserved by schools, colleges and individuals and the stories behind them.
8. Architectural Landscape: Tell the stories of campus buildings and landscapes related to the historical changes and characteristic culture of the school.
三、Submission of works
1. All units and colleges should submit at least one piece of work, and please submit the work to the Archives of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) before May 24, 2022.
