On February 17, all members of the Party and government leadership team of the library (Cultural Heritage Department) of our school went to Nanjing University to conduct work research and exchange and study. In the morning, the research team first came to Nanjing University Library to discuss the construction planning and construction experience of world-class university libraries and smart libraries, the construction of librarians, reading promotion, innovative services, multi-campus library, etc., as well as the 120th anniversary of the school. Work to conduct research. Director Huang Xianjin, Deputy Director Luo Jun, Shi Mei, Director Assistant and Office Director Chen Hong, and Assistant Director Zhai Xiaojuan of Nanjing University Library participated in the exchange.

At the meeting, Curator Huang Xianjin focused on his thoughts on building a world-class university library through PPT: Wisdom, knowledge and learning are true. He emphasized that wisdom is the need for the development of the first-class university library; knowledge is the contribution and need of the first-class university library as a knowledge service platform to the development of science; and the real social development and human progress are for the construction of the first-class university library and the need for it. development needs. Wisdom, knowledge, and truth are the "three legs" for the construction of first-class university libraries, jointly supporting the development of first-class university construction and the high-level and high-quality development of first-class university groups. In response to the 120th anniversary of Nanjing University, the library proposed 4 major projects and 12 measures, making new contributions to the construction of "the first NTU" and the realization of the vision of "being at the forefront of Chinese universities".

Deputy Director Luo Jun introduced the situation of each campus, the construction of the librarian team, and the multi-campus library. Deputy Director Shi Mei introduced the publicity and promotion work of the library.

At the symposium, Ni Feng shared the characteristic work and experience of Nanjing Agricultural University Library. Then, the two sides had a heated discussion on issues such as multi-campus management, performance appraisal, and the sharing of collection resources of Jinling University.

After the symposium, the investigators visited the Duxia Library of Nanjing University, and conducted a key visit and study of the Department of Ancient Books and Special Collections.

In the afternoon, the research team came to the Archives of Nanjing University to conduct research on the archives service and editing, the construction of archives management team, the construction of archives warehouse and the archives for the 120th anniversary of the school. Wu Mei, director of the Archives of Nanjing University, and Wang Lei, director of the Editing, Research and Exhibition Department, participated in the exchange.

At the meeting, Curator Wu Mei introduced the archives' work ideas, characteristic work and results, fund use and management, school history compilation and research work, etc. through PPT, and also introduced the work related to the 120th anniversary of the NTU Archives. She said that the archives should follow the lofty tenet of "managing archives for the party, preserving history for the country, and serving the people", giving full play to the important role of archives in "preserving history, governing, advising the government, and educating people", and serving the The school works in the center, serving the teachers and students, alumni and the society.

At the symposium, the two sides also discussed how to actively introduce social resources to carry out various exhibitions, research on school history and culture, edit and publish school history books and yearbooks, and how to publicize and display school history through archives.

After the meeting, the research team visited the archives warehouse, school history museum and exhibition hall of Nanjing University.

All members of the leadership team said that this survey has strengthened the business contact and communication between the two universities.
