In order to solve the problem of readers occupying seats for a long time and create a safer reading environment for readers under the epidemic situation, Pukou branch will start the appointment system for most of the reading rooms on December 27, 2021.

At present, there are nearly 7,000 students on the Pukou campus, and the Pukou branch has 9 viewing rooms, and the seats are seriously tight. In 2018, the "I go to the library" seat selection system was launched in the electronic reading room and multi-functional reading room. In June 2021, the seat selection system will be tried out in the newspaper reading room and electronic reading room.

Readers pay attention to the "I go to the library" public WeChat account, enter their student ID or work ID, and set a password, and then they can use the seat reservation system to make an appointment. After making an appointment, go to the library check-in machine and swipe the QR code to sign in. The current appointment method is one person per person, and appointments are required every day. A total of eight wired and wireless sign-in machines were deployed in the Pukou branch . For the convenience of teachers and readers, the reservation system has not yet been activated in the South Comprehensive Reading Room on the fourth floor.

After the appointment system is enabled, readers in the library are also invited to continue to consciously maintain the indoor order. Please do not store items at will.
