In order to improve the theoretical and professional quality of the full-time and part-time archive staff of the school, we should pay attention to and do a good job in the collection, preservation and utilization of the school history (character) archives,On the morning of December 3, the library (the Ministry of Cultural Heritage) organized the full-time and part-time archivists of the whole school to visit the Rabe and International Safety Zone Memorial Hall and the Pearl S. Buck Memorial Hall of Nanjing University. Participating in this event are Zhu Shigui, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department), Zhang Kun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Director (Deputy Minister), Deputy Director (Deputy Minister) Tang Huiyan, and full-time and part-time archive staff. 34 people.

In this event, Director Yang Shanyou of the Archives of Nanjing University gave an overall introduction to the two museums, focusing on sharing the wonderful cases of the memorial in the process of construction, operation, and publicity, reflecting the importance of basic work such as archive collection, sorting and utilization. . Through the case, we have strengthened everyone's understanding of daily archives work, reminding everyone to do a good job of archives, there will be unexpected gains in the work.

Afterwards, everyone visited the Rabe and International Safety Zone Memorial Hall and the Pearl Buck Memorial Hall. There are many "Southern agricultural factors" in the two museums, especially the close relationship between the Nobel Prize winner Pearl S. Buck's literary works and Bu Kai, the founder of the Agricultural Economics Department of Nanjing Agricultural University. It fully reflects the close relationship between Nanjing Agricultural University A century of academic inheritance.

During the return trip, the archivists agreed that the visit and study were very educational.
