The 2021 academic annual meeting of Jiangsu University Archives Research Association and the fifth council meeting of the tenth session of Jiangsu University Archives Research Association were held in Huai'an on October 26. The meeting was hosted by Jiangsu Huaiyin Normal University. Zhu Shigui, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) participated in the fifth meeting of the Tenth Council, and related archive staff Zhang Lixia, Chen Shaohua, Zhang Yong, Chen Hailin and part-time archivist Capital Construction Division Gong Huan participated in the academic annual meeting.

The annual academic meeting will be attended by leaders from China Archives Society, Jiangsu Provincial Archives, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and representatives of archivists from 85 colleges and universities across the province.

Yang Dongquan, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, former director of the Central Archives, former director of the National Archives, and chairman of the China Archives Society, Yang Jiaming, secretary general of the Archives Branch of the Chinese Higher Education Society, and director of the archives of Beijing Normal University, respectively made the title " An inspiring new blueprint-"The "14th Five-Year" National Archives Development Plan" learning experience" and "the key and innovative points of archives work during the "14th Five-Year" period-archival resource construction and university cultural inheritance" theme report .

The academic annual meeting also announced the review results of the 2021 academic symposium of the Jiangsu University Archives Research Association. Chen Shaohua’s paper "Exploration of the Deep Development and Utilization of University Archives Information Resources" won the third prize, and Gong Huan’s paper by the Infrastructure Department "Research on the Construction of University Infrastructure Archives Case Base under the Perspective of Knowledge Management" won the Excellence Award.

At the meeting, Huaiyin Normal University and other units conducted extensive discussions and exchanges on the current and future archives work of colleges and universities. During the meeting, the participants also visited the Huai'an Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall, Huai'an Liulaozhuang Eighty-two Martyrs Memorial Hall, etc., which promoted party history study and education and business exchanges.
