On the afternoon of October 27, the establishment ceremony and special training activities of the first batch of subject liaison staff of the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Nanjing Agricultural University were held in the library. Vice President Dong Weichun of Nanjing Agricultural University, Deputy Director Zhang Jing of Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office, representatives of experts engaged in intellectual property information services and liaison officers of various colleges attended the meeting. In the first stage of the conference, Ni Feng introduced the importance and urgency of intellectual property protection to all participants based on the international situation, and pointed out that the work of the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Nanjing Agricultural University should“go into the front line, into the departments, and into the disciplines”in a timely manner. , Into the countryside".

Zhang Jing gave a special report on "Interpretation of National and Jiangsu Intellectual Property Public Service Policies" for teachers and students. The deputy director of the library Tang Huiyan gave a special report on "Improving Business Capabilities and Diversified Exploration of Intellectual Property Information Services", introducing the center's development history, key service content and characteristic cases to everyone.

Dong Weichun made a concluding speech, affirmed the preliminary work of the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Nanjing Agricultural University, and expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Intellectual Property Office for its strong support to the center's work, and hoped that the center will focus on key tasks and achieve greater success.

Subsequently, the participating leaders inaugurated the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Information Public Service Network of Nanjing Agricultural University. At the meeting, the list of the first batch of consultants and liaisons was announced, and the letter of appointment was issued.

In the second stage of the conference, Gao Ping, the trainer of the Smartbuds database, introduced the advantages and characteristics of the Smartbuds patent database and the patent search and analysis methods. After the training, the subject liaison officers introduced their respective research directions.

The establishment of the subject liaison team has built a communication bridge between the subject and the center, which helps to convey the needs of the subject to the center in a timely manner; the liaison is expected to become the center’s reserve experts, and the center will gradually improve the information of experts and liaisons and upgrade to Expert database; the center and the liaison team will build a bridge between the "university" and the "earth", promote the implementation of the school's scientific research results, and at the same time solve the production pain points of the enterprise, and serve the three rural areas.
