In order to help international students who come to our school to learn about the library as soon as possible, and to use various resources in the library more conveniently and quickly, on the afternoon of October 14th, the Reader Service Department of the Library and the School of International Education held a conference at Library A610 for the freshmen of 2021 international students. Admission training.

This admission education was carried out in various forms such as PPT comprehensive explanation, on-site demonstration operation and on-site visit, and the whole course was explained in English. First, teacher Hou Meili from the Reader Service Department gave a detailed introduction to the library overview, collection distribution, book inquiry and borrowing, use of electronic resources, relevant rules and regulations, and opening hours in ppt format. Afterwards, the students themselves performed on-site book retrieval and electronic resource use on the library website, and the teacher answered questions on the spot.

Finally, Mr. Liu Yan led everyone to visit the site and explained the specific distribution of the library's collections and the use of autonomous borrowing and returning facilities to help international students use the library's various resources more fully and effectively. In addition, the international students also visited the single-man Yun poetry, calligraphy and painting exhibition room in the library, and had a close appreciation of China's extensive and profound calligraphy and ink painting culture.

Through this education in the library, international students have a more intuitive and detailed understanding of the library, laying a certain foundation of information literacy for the next study and research work.
