The East Campus Library was designed by Tongji University and officially started construction in October 2015. It was completed at the end of 2018. It covers an area of48,575 square meters, has a collection of 2 million books and 3,000 reading seats. It officially opened on August 21, 2019.

Gui Yinsheng, the curator of the Archives and School History Museum of China Agricultural University, and the department director had a discussion with the research team, and introduced in detail the organizational structure, collection characteristics and layout of the school’s archives, and then accompanied them to visit the school’s archives. The school history exhibition closely focuses on the theme of "Always striving to be at the forefront of the times", and strives to achieve the three goals of space agility, interaction between the subject and the guest, and moving the audience's heart. The new exhibition hall layout with prominent themes, clear and smooth movement, and full use of space has a unique style and characteristic in the university history museum. Afterwards, the research team visited the "Life is Struggle-Hu Hua's Centenary Birthday Biography and Letters Exhibition", an exhibition co-sponsored by the Museum of Renmin University of China, the School of Marxism, and the Institute of Party History and Party Building. The exhibition commemorates the upcoming centenary of the party in the form of commemorating the party's peers and the CCP historian Professor Hu Hua. The research team also visited the exhibition of Chinese traditional home book culture with collection value, and was inspired by how the school promotes cultural inheritance and education. Professor Yan Jinming, Executive Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of Renmin University of China and our school alumnus, introduced the school’s work on party building and campus culture.
