Journal Introduction

Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews (WIREs) is a series of review journals related to life, environment, medicine, physics and social sciences. It was first published in 2009. The idea is to integrate encyclopedia-style references and review journals in a new network format. In combination, publish invited reviews and opinion articles in journals, and fill and update encyclopedias in related fields, covering areas of interdisciplinary cooperation to assist researchers, educators, students, policy makers, and other interested readers Study related research fields.

After the 2019 impact factor was released, the WIREs series of journals performed well. In the field of computational biology / chemistry, the new IF of WIREs Computational Molecular Science was 16.778 (up 106 %), and in the field of life and health sciences, the new IF of WIREs Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology reached 7.689 (up 25 %). The new IF for WIREs RNA is 6.913 (up 40 %), and the new IF for WIREs Systems Biology and Medicine is 4.275 (up 21 %).

In the field of environment and sustainable science, WIREs of all Climate Change 's new IF was 6.099 , WIREs Water new IF was 4.451 , WIREs Energy and Environment new IF is 2.922 .

In the field of data science and artificial intelligence, the new IF of WIREs Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery is 4.476 (up 76 %), the highest in the journal's history. WIREs Cognitive Science of new IF was 2.880 , WIREs Developmental Biology new IF is 3.883 .
