Perform "planting" with due diligence, embrace spring with green concepts, and warm people's hearts with flowers. In order to delight librarians physically and mentally, create a "green" library, create a natural oxygen bar, and improve the office environment and service environment, the 8th "Flower Planting and Greening" Environmental Beautification Competition organized by the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) Labor Union was officially launched.

There are six types of flowers participating in this event: longevity flower, spider plant, periwinkle, geranium, petunia, and small pepper. All librarians voluntarily participate in the competition and choose their own according to personal preferences. The competition period is divided into three stages: first, the registration sowing season; second, the preparation and cultivation season; third, the selection and harvest season. During the competition, a WeChat group communication platform for "flower-growing informants" was established for participants to upload and share their planting progress and experience. Two awards, "Plant Conservation Expert Award" and "Environmental Beautification Collective Award" are set up for selection. The selection is based on factors such as the growth of plants during the planting period, the degree of care in planting, and the harmony between plants and the surrounding environment.

It is reported that the "Growing Flowers and Planting Green" environmental beautification competition has 12 participating groups, 69 librarians signed up, and planted 325 plants. All librarians actively participated and invested enthusiastically, turning the soil, sowing, watering, etc. Laminating, everyone will experience happiness in work and look forward to harvest. The focus of growing flowers is to love flowers, and to love flowers is to use your heart. The activities actively contribute to the construction of a harmonious and happy library in terms of humanistic construction and environmental construction.
