At the report meeting, Dong weichun first introduced that the newly revised Archives Law of the People's Republic of China was deliberated and adopted at the 19th meeting of the 13th NPC Standing Committee on June 20, 2020, which will be formally implemented on January 1, 2021. This is a new milestone in the archives of the rule of law construction in our country, is to adapt to the national archives work management system, management ability of modern requirements, in accordance with the law, administration, to open, to an important symbol of modernization, new era will the archival undertaking high quality development of socialism with Chinese characteristics have a significant and far-reaching influence. At the same time, in the first half of this year, the "four libraries in one" is the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage), which is the orderly integration of the picture and information archives, in order to better build the "four libraries". How to ensure the orderly work of school archives, archives should play its role, the need for the joint efforts of all archivists.
Later, Zhao Shen, deputy director of the Archives of Jiangsu Province, made a report entitled "Providing legal guarantee for the high-quality development of Archives in the New Era -- Interpretation of the Newly revised Archives Law". Zhao from deep significance and spiritual essence of revision of "archives law", main content, development were summarized, and how to strengthen the propaganda laws fully ensure effective implementation of five aspects, such as, the detail revised archives law is the general secretary of the implementation of the jinping about the important instructions of archives work in the new age and the embodiment of the CPC Central Committee decision deployment, is promoting the modernization of national management system and management ability of the inevitable requirement of archives work, is to further clear all kinds of main obligations and rights, the important measures to enhance the whole society's awareness of archives. Director zhao reciting the revision of the archives law between 2007 and 2020, expression of revised archives law insist on the political orientation of archives work, people's position, security line, from the sound system design, the archives opening and utilization, archives, archives information construction security, support, and supervise and inspect the six aspects that constitute the main contents of revision, and emphasized through publicity and training, improve the supporting regulations and strengthening law enforcement and supervision and inspection to ensure the comprehensive and effective implementation of the archives law. Dong Weichun summarized the meeting. He fully affirmed deputy curator Zhao Shen's report, which is an important guidance report for our school's in-depth study and publicity of the implementation of the newly revised archives Law. He pointed out that university archives assume the sacred duty of "managing archives for the Party, preserving the history of the university, serving the people, and educating the people", which is an important basis for promoting the scientific development of various undertakings of the university and safeguarding the fundamental interests of the university, teachers and students. Carrying out the newly revised Archives Law is the mission and responsibility of our school's leading cadres at all levels and part-time administrators of archives. It is hoped that all colleges and units, especially the leaders and part-time archivists in charge of archival work, will continue to organize the study of the new archives Law after the meeting, and conscientiously do the archival work of the school and units well in accordance with the requirements of the Archives Law, so as to ensure the construction of a world-class university with agricultural characteristics for the school.
After the lecture, Dong Weichun and the leadership of the library (Cultural Heritage Department) accompanied Zhao Shen to visit the school history museum.
