At 2:30 p.m. on December 9, the fourth Party Branch held the "Four histories" learning and education activity in the conference room on the seventh floor of the library. The activity was presided over by Ji Junjie, secretary of the fourth Party Branch.

The meeting first learned the advanced deeds of Qiu Shaoyun, a soldier of the Korean volunteer army. In the war of resisting American aid Korea, in order to cover latent comrade-in-arms, assure battle victory, Qiu Shaoyun is to rely on strong revolutionary will simply, aglow burn body and move motionless, till heroic sacrifice. This spirit of Qiu Shaoyun, "firm as a rock, mission above everything, discipline above life and will above steel", must be passed on from generation to generation. In particular, when personal interests are at stake, every Party member should bow himself to the question of whether he can, like Qiu Shaoyun, be strict in discipline, bear in mind the overall situation and be highly loyal.

Subsequently, the party branch watched together to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer army to fight against the United States and assist the DPRK to launch a large-scale television documentary "for peace" the first episode. Through the narration supported by historical theories and touching typical stories, the film retrospects and presents the glorious course and valuable experience of the War led by the Communist Party of China to resist the United States and aid the DPRK, and shows the patriotism of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army and the internationalism spirit of fighting for the cause of peace and justice of mankind. Watching the film, all the party members in the party branch felt deeply that today's peaceful life is hard-won. We should unite more closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, stay true to our original intention and bear in mind our mission, carry forward the spirit of resisting THE US and helping the DPRK, and make contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
