Recently, in order to promote the construction and work of the second batch of "National Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Colleges and Universities" and improve the management level of library business, library leaders have led teams to participate in the training of patent analysis methods and went to relevant colleges and universities in Chengdu for investigation.
From November 11 to 13, the team led by General Secretary of the Party, Zhu Shigui, and four librarians including Hu Yitao, Chen Rongrong, Gao Jun, participated in the patent analysis training held in Nanjing, which was sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office. At the training meeting, teachers from the National Knowledge Bureau introduced the background of national innovation drive and the relationship between patent analysis, explained the process and theory of patent analysis in detail, and organized the practice and report of patent retrieval. During the research period, targeted discussions and visits were conducted on intellectual property services, construction of smart library, construction and management of special collection documents, etc.
In Sichuan University, Long Yi, deputy director of the Research Institute of Science and Technology Development, and Zhang Shengqiang, deputy director of the library received the research group, and Chen Li, deputy director of the Research Institute of Science participated in the research. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the whole process service of scientific and technological achievements, especially patent transformation, 14th and fifth plan, construction of smart library, resources of ancient books and documents, and management of storehouse of cultural relics, etc. Sichuan University is a national demonstration unit of intellectual property. It has issued a series of documents in patent application, transformation (property right incentive) and promotion, and carried out comprehensive attempts and achieved certain results.
In The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Deputy director Zhang Min introduced to the research group the construction of smart library, intellectual property services, patent retrieval and analysis, and the construction of the postgraduate course of Intellectual Property and Information Retrieval, etc. After the discussion, he visited the library "Sanpin-Tang" of the university.
In Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, under the guidance of Deputy director Qing Taixiang, we visited the Monetary and financial Museum and the library respectively. During the visit, we listened to the introduction of the museum's exhibition setting concept, the content and ideas of disciplinary service, and the construction of the library's intelligent system.
The recent series of studies and exchanges have made us have a better understanding of the experience in the construction of intellectual property services, ancient books and special collections, cultural and museological warehouses, smart libraries and other aspects in Domestic colleges and universities, strengthened the ability and exercise of related librarians' patent analysis and library business management, and laid a good foundation for the work of our library.
