Wang Chong first introduced the nature and purpose of the library volunteer service team. She said that volunteers, as a non-profit team, provide consultation services for teachers, students and readers with enthusiasm and a heart that loves the library without affecting their own learning, and at the same time provide a strong reserve for the student team involved in library management and services. Then, from the perspective of themselves, the volunteers not only express their needs as a reader, but also from the perspective of the staff, hoping to better serve the library with the dual identity of "reader + server" and further shorten the distance between readers and the library.

After the discussion, Wang Chong took the volunteers for an in-depth VIP visit. Because only their best understanding of the library, to provide a better service to everyone. During the visit, Wang Chong introduced the layout, collection and service contents of the library in detail. Finally, she said that the library is a big family with love. More readers are welcome to come to the library and more students are welcome to join the volunteer team to give Suggestions for the development of the library.

It is reported that the library's volunteer service team currently has 177 members, who come from all colleges from freshman year to graduate year. In order to further improve the service of the library and provide better consultation service for students, especially freshmen readers, the Reader Service Department set up a volunteer service post at the East Gate information desk on October 8th to receive readers' consultation every day. So far, more than 100 questions have been answered by readers. The new volunteers will participate in the management and service of the library from the beginning of volunteer service duty.
