On the morning of November 2nd, the library science and Technology search new training College opened a lecture in the conference room on the seventh floor of the library. Professor Wang Minfang, general Secretary of the CPC in The Library of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and Wu Dongmin, director of the Information Department of Hohai University Library were invited to give the keynote report. More than 30 librarians including General Secretary of the Party Branch Zhu Shigui, deputy curator Tang Huiyan attended the lecture. The lecture was presided over by Tang Huiyan.

Wang Minfang first made the report "New Work and Standardized Management of Science and Technology Inspection", combined with the spirit of the document of science and technology innovation issued by the State Council, the Ministry of Education and other departments, and explained in detail the new background and objectives of science and technology inspection. Focus on the new links and key elements of science and technology to carry out detailed interpretation item by item. Through the general situation of the library at the present stage, she emphasized the importance of scientific and technological search, and pointed out that scientific and technological search is an indispensable part in the application process of scientific research project approval, achievement transformation, new product identification, scientific and technological progress award, innovation fund, patent application and other projects. It is especially pointed out that the new inspection station should pay attention to the cultivation of leading talents, and the auditor should be strictly required to lead the team.

Wu Dongmin first affirmed the quality of our new search report, combined with the new search service platform of science and technology, pointed out that the new inspectors should regulate their own operation and management. Wang Minfang and Wu Dongmin, two senior inspectors, checked the report of participants and gave one-to-one guidance. Participants listened carefully to the guidance and actively participated in the discussion, and all said they benefited a lot.

Tang Huiyan summed up the event. She expressed her gratitude to Secretary Wang Minfang and the librarian of Wu Dongmin Research. This wonderful report has effectively improved the professional level and comprehensive quality of our science and technology search staff, supported the scientific and technological innovation work of our school, and facilitated the construction of "double first-class" of our school.

After the meeting, Hu Yitao, director of the reference consulting Department, sorted out and revised the standards and templates of science and technology search of our library in time according to the Suggestions of experts in this class and released them.
