On the morning of October 30th, all on-duty librarians of the Reader Service Department held a farewell party for Mr. Gao Jianqing’s glorious retirement at the staff’s home on the eighth floor of the library. Zhang Kun, deputy director (deputy minister) of the library (cultural heritage department), was invited to attend. The farewell party was hosted by Tong Yunjuan, Director of Reader Services.
The faculty’s house on the eighth floor has been refurbished and decorated with colorful balloons with the words "Happy Library" on the walls and window sills. It looks warm and festive. The background of "Thank you-Teacher Gao Jianqing's Farewell Party" On the theme of the second farewell party, everyone was sitting around a large table made of ping pong tables. First, they watched a short video specially edited for Teacher Gao Jianqing by Zhou Fu, deputy director of the Reader Service Department, accompanied by a loop of photos of Gao Jianqing’s work and life. Tong Yunjuan first conveyed the condolences and blessings from the director (minister) of the library (cultural heritage department) Ni Feng and the secretary of the Party branch Zhu Shigui to Teacher Gao. The two leaders fully affirmed the development and readers of the school library. For the contribution made by the service work, I hope that Mr. Gao will continue to care and support the work of the library after retirement, and send good wishes. Then, Zhang Kun recalled his acquaintance with Teacher Gao, feeling that time was passing by, and thanked Teacher Gao for his hard work and sent his blessings.
Afterwards, Mr. Gao Jianqing fondly reviewed his twelve years of work in the library: I am grateful for the people and things I have encountered, expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the library, thanked the leaders and colleagues for their help and concern, and expressed that people and The encounter of people is a kind of fate, we must know how to cherish fate. The colleagues present along with Teacher Gao's narration recalled the past, sometimes immersed in the good time spent together, and sometimes burst out with knowing laughter. Colleagues shared their touching stories with Mr. Gao, and wish Mr. Gao a happy retirement! Finally, everyone took a group photo together.
