On the morning of September 15, the Library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) held the class 2020 orientation seminar in the conference room on the seventh floor of the library. Zhang Kun, deputy secretary of the General Party branch and deputy director (deputy minister) of the Library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage), Li Xinquan, director of the office, Tong Yunjuan, director of the Reader Service Department, Ding Qing, director of the Reader service department of Pukou Campus Library and other relevant staff attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Kun.

At the meeting, Zhang Kun summarized the recent preparation work for new students' entrance education, affirmed the reception work for new students already carried out by the School History Museum and the Nongbo Museum, emphasized the matters to be paid attention to in the upcoming library entrance education work, and encouraged everyone to carry out the education for new students of the class of 2020 in an orderly manner.

Subsequently, Tong yunjuan briefly reviewed the implementation plan and development process of new students' education work over the years, and put forward a timely and effective emergency plan for new students' education after considering the current requirements of epidemic prevention and control. She suggested, according to the usual freshmen in the library education mode of work experience and the current outbreak, with reference to the other in the library of university library education, establish a super star learn online self-study and examination, as a platform to carry out the assessment of new, open campus card library service, and considering the current situation of software and hardware facilities, perfect as soon as possible (heritage) readers use the library guide updates, promote the related work.

Participants discussed the education plan for new students of the class of 2020. Zhang kun suggested that the art design of the guide should fit students' interests and add lively elements such as campus cartoon images. Li Suggested that the electronic reader's guide should be the main guide, supplemented by the paper reader's guide, the process of online self-study and examination should be clear, and the education scheme for new students should be improved for the convenience of students. In the end, we discussed the technical support needed for the program and cooperated with each other for the smooth development of new students' education.
