In view of the impact of the current epidemic, many people work and study at home, so we summarize two ways to access the database at home:
1： Use school VPN to log in and use Elsevier products normally
2： If the university has started school and is allowed to work off campus, you can register off campus remote access on the relevant Elsevier products within the scope of IP authorized by the institution:
Step 1: openScienceDirect主页, click "register" in the upper right corner of the page,
Register ScienceDirect personal account with institutional email (such asxxxx@pku.edu.cn)
Step 2: click "remote access" at the bottom of the page to access remotely
Note: "Remote access" will not appear at the bottom of the page as follows
1. The current personal account has been set up for remote access
2. Your organization has not completed setting up the remote access method
Step 3: enter your email address and click 'continue'. Or enter the suffix "@ ****. Edu. CN"
Step 4: select your organization and click 'continue'
Step 5: your registered email will receive a confirmation email, please activate within one hour
Step 6: Click to obtain access rights, and then jump back to the ScienceDirect interface. There are two options: one is to continue to access anonymously without registration; the other is to register immediately for convenience of subsequent use.
Your personal account will have 180 days of remote access, which will be automatically renewed for 180 days after each login.
If you have not logged into ScienceDirect for a long time, you need to repeat the above operation.
