Introduction of platform
The Chinese animal database is co-constructed by the institute of zoology of the Chinese academy of sciences and the kunming institute of zoology of the Chinese academy of sciences. The characteristic database of some animal groups and regions was added. The information display platform of multi-sublibrary combined query based on Web Service and species geographical distribution query based on WebGIS was established. The original data of China animal subject database are mainly from literature, monographs and research reports that have been concluded. After repeated argumentation by the expert group, the data structure and standard specifications are determined. All data are reviewed and confirmed by zoological experts and included in the database. The quality of data is guaranteed. It is the largest and most authoritative database service system in the field of zoology in China.
The Chinese animal theme library includes: Vertebrate catalog database code database, animal species, animal name database, with the publication of China fauna studying information database, and protect endangered animals, insect species database in China, the Chinese insects pattern database, animal expert database, China fauna database, China animal mapping database, Chinese bee database, rove worm catalogue database, database of yunnan birds, China primate species and literature database, amphibious reptiles database, China database of orthoptera insects, birds, database, database, southwest China's inland water fish county vertebrates Distribution directory, southwest reserve vertebrate distribution directory, yunnan butterfly distribution directory, yunnan forest insect distribution directory.
