Initiative on library electricity safety

Dear readers,

At 18:10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, a student placed a hot water bottle for charging on a chair in the southeast corner of the delayed-study room on the first floor of the north floor, causing an explosion. The student was out for dinner at the time of the incident. He was not at the scene. The security officer on duty heard the explosion and immediately cut off the power.

After the incident, the library held a special meeting and decided to deal with it as follows:

1. Put the student on the blacklist of seat reservation system of the library, and the reservation is prohibited for 60 days. Notify the college and make a written examination.

2. Require the librarian and property security of the museum to strengthen the security inspection of the museum.

3. Strengthen the publicity of safe electricity use in libraries through WeChat and other means.

4. Conduct a special security inspection of the whole museum.

The library is the school key fire prevention unit, the reading room all USES the related rules and regulations to prohibit clearly using the related illegal electrical appliances, hoped the general schoolmate strictly observes, prevents the similar incident to occur again, and mutually supervises, in order to safeguard the teachers and students the person, the property and the building safe, creates the good reading environment jointly.
