On the afternoon of October 12th, the eighteenth phase of the library hall was opened in the studio on the six floor of the library. Zhang Yihua, curator of the library of Hehai University, was invited to give a report entitled "Strengthening the planning of digital libraries to support the double-class construction of the university". The Deputy librarian Song Huaming and Tang Huiyan attended the report. All the librarians at the library attended the meeting and heard the report. The event was chaired by Tang Huiyan. |
First of all, Zhang Yihua introduces the current development of the library from the aspects of management system, collection, resources and services; discusses a series of construction strategies for the development of the digital library of Hehai University under the background of double-first-class development; he combines the actual situation of the library of Hehai University with the actual case of foreign periodicals. Finally, he pointed out that the construction of digital libraries should have the characteristics of demand-oriented specialization, multi-channel funding support, fine analysis and evaluation, and normalization of service disciplines, and actively build a multi-level talent team.
All participants listened carefully to the report and conducted an interactive communication.
Tang Huiyan, deputy librarian of the library, summarized the activities of the school hall. She pointed out that President Zhang Yihua took Hehai University as the grasp, combined theory with practice, discussed in detail the development plan of the digital library, which has an important practical guiding role for the future development direction of the library.
