Platform introduction
BioOne started in 1999 as a non-profit organization sponsored by several famous universities and composed of academic associations, universities and publishing houses. It is the only journal integration alliance with high impact in the field of biological science research. BioOne was founded by the American Institute of Biological Sciences, the Federation of Scholar Publishing and Academic Resources, the University of Kensas, the Western Library Union, and Aaron Publishing. At present, the journals of high quality biological sciences published by 151 non-commercial publishing houses and academic associations are the basic academic resources for teaching and research in related disciplines.
The BioOne journal covers a wide range of subjects, including agriculture, dairy and animal husbandry, agricultural economics, biology, biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, biodiversity conservation, cell biology, developmental biology, ecology, engineering, environmental science, entomology, and evolutionary biology. Aquatics, Forestry, Genetics, Genetics, Geography, Geology, Limnology, Marine and Freshwater Biology, Microbiology, Ornithology, Paleontology, Parasitology, Botany, Public Environment and Occupational Hygiene, Sports Science, Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, etc. In January 2018, BioOne included 207 high-quality journals of Biological Sciences published by academic associations and non-profit publishers, of which 157 journals were listed in the ISI-JCR report. Of the more than 60 exclusive journals in the database, 67% were included in the ISI-JCR report and 103 exclusive XML journals, of which 81% were included. More than 98% of the journals are peer reviewed journals. Twenty-seven of the five-year average impact factors in the database were higher than 2, and the impact of the Bulletin of the American Museum of Natural History in 2008 was as high as 16.385. The repetition rate of BioOne and ASP is only 0.2%, with a total content of about about 1400000 pages since 1965.
