On the afternoon of June 11, the 2021 Nanjing Chengdong University Library Consortium Dragon Boat Race was held at the Dragon Boat Sports Base of Sunshine Pier, Xuanwu Lake, Nanjing. The Nanjing Agricultural University Library (Cultural Heritage Department) team won the championship.
This dragon boat race is organized by the Nanjing Agricultural University Library (Cultural Heritage Department), Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Library, Nanjing Forestry University Library, Nanjing University of Science and Technology Library, Nanjing Institute of Physical Education Library and Nanjing Normal University Library (specially invited ) A total of six representative teams participated. Each team consisted of 15 people including drummers and rowers. A total of 90 athletes participated in the competition.
This dragon boat race set up 6 lanes, the length of the race is 500 meters, and the professional dragon boat coaches of the dragon boat sports base will conduct technical training before the race. Everyone has studied carefully and is full of interest. With the start of the competition, the six teams competed on the Xuanwu Lake. The participating players struggled to paddle and fight with high spirits. Six dragon boats chased me and moved forward at full speed. The sound of drums and shouts kept coming one after another. Among them, the Nanjing Agricultural University Library (Cultural Heritage Department) and the Nanjing Forestry University Library competed particularly fiercely. In the end, the Nanjing Agricultural University Library (Cultural Heritage Department) won the first place in 2:03.12.
An enthusiastic award ceremony was held after the game. The library of Nanjing Agricultural University (the Ministry of Cultural Heritage) won the first prize, the library of Nanjing Forestry University and the library of Nanjing Normal University won the second prize, the library of Nanjing Institute of Physical Education, the library of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the library of Nanjing University of Science and Technology won Third prize. The Chengdong University Library Consortium provides literature guarantee for the students of five universities and plays an important role in teaching and scientific research. This dragon boat race promoted the development of fitness activities in member libraries, cultivated teamwork spirit, built a bridge for communication among librarians, and urged librarians to devote more enthusiasm to their work.
