On the afternoon of January 8th, the 2020 Summarization Commendation Meeting for Student Librarians and Volunteers of the Library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) was held in the conference room on the 7th floor of the library. Zhang Kun, Deputy Director (Deputy Minister) of the Library (Department of Cultural Heritage), the students who won the excellent honorary title and the relevant guidance teachers of the Reader Service Department attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Tong Yunjuan, Director of Reader Service Department.
First of all, Tong Yunjuan introduced the selection process of 2020 Outstanding Student Worker and announced the list of students who won the title of Excellent Honor. Thank you for your hard work in the past year. The selection of 58 student librarians and 184 volunteers, a total of 242 library student workers to carry out comprehensive evaluation, according to the students' working hours, working attitude, service effect, the final selection of the serious work of 21 outstanding honorary title winners.
Then, representatives of the outstanding student librarians Chen Jin and Fang Xin made a speech. They say they are lucky to be a library worker and witness the whole process of library services. Winning the excellent honorary title is an affirmation of my work in the past year. I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers for their trust and recognition of me. The process of work is joyful. They all said that in the future work will be more strict with themselves, more serious, more responsible, will do the library work better.
According to Tong, student librarians and volunteers have become an indispensable part of library services. In 2020, student librarians will provide 4,300 hours of service, while volunteers will provide 583 hours of service. They have injected young vitality into library services.
Zhang Kun, deputy curator, gave a concluding speech. First of all, on behalf of the party and government leaders of the library (Ministry of Cultural Heritage), he congratulated the award-winning students and thanked them for their contributions to the school's education cause. The sweat and hard work of the students are worthy of recognition by every library member. He also encouraged the students, library work is a rare opportunity to exercise, in the university training process, this exercise process will lay a good foundation for the students' future development, in the future into the society, the students will become very outstanding talents. Mr. Zhang also wished the students a good result in the final exam, and paid attention to epidemic prevention on the way home during the winter vacation. He also wished the students a happy New Year in advance.
