In the afternoon of October 14th, 13 people, including Liu Feng, curator of South China Agricultural University Library, Chen Bi, deputy curator of Guangdong Ocean University Library, and their party, came to our university library for special research. Director Ni Feng (Minister) and Deputy Director Tang Huiyan (Vice minister) of the Library (Cultural Heritage Department) of our school attended the exchange.

The meeting will be held in the conference room on the 7th floor of the Library. Ni Feng first welcomed the visitors and introduced the basic information and current main work of the museum to them, with emphasis on the establishment and management of the institution, post appointment and assessment. Tang Huiyan made a detailed explanation to the guests through PPT from the aspects of organization setting, routine work, literature resource construction, characteristic service, intellectual property work and so on. Office director Li Xinquan introduced the planning and construction of our smart library to the guests through PPT.

At the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on the key problems and existing difficulties in the construction of smart libraries, the application of new technologies in libraries, other service innovations, reading promotion, circulation reading management and other aspects. After the meeting, Curator Liu Feng and deputy curator Chen Bi also visited the multi-media study room, academician hall, single yun Poetry, calligraphy and painting exhibition room and so on.
