The 13th teaching staff "Enjoy reading Salon" was successfully held

On the morning of June 5, 2020, the 13th reading sharing activity of "Enjoying reading Salon" was held in the conference room of China Museum of Agricultural Civilization. Shen Zhizhong, professor of the School of Humanities and Social Development and an expert on agricultural archaeology, was specially invited to share "Reading and The History of Agriculture". Zhang Kun, deputy secretary of the General Party branch and deputy director (deputy minister) of the Library (Cultural Heritage Research Department) attended the activity, which was presided over by Hu Yitao, director of the planning and promotion Department.

The sharing session is divided into two parts: discussion and visit. First of all, Professor Shen Zhizhong introduced the history and development of Nanjing Agriculture-related colleges and universities, reviewed the remarkable years of our school, and we listened to professor Shen's wonderful speech with great interest. After the discussion, Professor Shen led the teachers to visit the Museum of Chinese Agricultural Civilization, and introduced the development history of Chinese agricultural civilization with emotion combined with the exhibits of ancient farm tools in the museum.

"Enjoy reading Salon" is initiated by the planning and promotion department of the library, with the goal of enjoying reading and enjoying good books. Zhang kun expressed that the activity created a positive atmosphere of reading together and jointly promoted the construction of a scholarly campus by cultivating the soul through reading.
