JoVE experimental video journal database supports remote access

In order to fully support domestic users to access and utilize JoVE academic resources and better provide online access services for users, JoVE experimental video journal database supports the following two remote access methods:
1) to achieve remote access through Shibboleth docking, institutional users need to apply for configuration;
2) individual users register their accounts with the agency mailbox to achieve remote access.
The above remote access method is applicable to all database resources of JoVE platform, including Video Journal and Science Education videos.
Steps for individual users to set up accounts are as follows:
Step 1: open the home page of the join database (https://www-join-com.vpn.njau.edu.cn), click "log in" in the upper right corner of the page, and select "sign up" in the dialog box
Step 2: Create a personal Account, fill in the name, organization email, organization name and other information and set the password, then click "Create Account".
Please note: individual users must register using the official email address with the suffix "@****.edu.cn". Public email addresses such as 163,126 and QQ are not allowed.
Step 3: after background verification by JoVE, your registered mailbox will receive a confirmation email. Please complete activation according to the prompts in the email.
Step 4: after account activation, return to JoVE home page, click "Log In" In the upper right corner of the page, enter the user name and password, click "Sign In" to Log In, and you can access the JoVE resources subscribed by your organization remotely.
