The full-text database series of Chinese modern newspapers and periodicals is produced by the index editorial department of national newspapers and periodicals of Shanghai library.

The full-text database of journals of the late qing dynasty (1833-1911) contains more than 520 journals published between 1833 and 1910, including more than 530,000 full-text articles.

Full text database of journals in the republic of China period (1911 ~ 1949) contains more than 20,000 journals published in the republic of China period, including nearly 10 million full texts, which mainly reflects the political, military, diplomatic, economic, educational, ideological and cultural, religious and other aspects of this period. The database is published in batches and has published 11 volumes of full-text data.

New products in the late qing dynasty, the republic of China period newspapers and periodicals supplement - picture material "picture description of one hundred years - Chinese modern literature atlas" includes China's modern times, time span of nearly 200 years of newspaper and periodicals picture resources. The library integrates all picture types in modern Chinese literature and presents them in 16 types, including photos, woodcuts, calligraphy, maps and sculptures. Currently, there are about 600,000 pictures online. Gallery has a new design, the home page has a separate entrance, the interface style is simple, full map retrieval results, clustering detailed and detailed, easy to browse. Accurate indexing is made for each picture, which can be retrieved not only according to the picture type, but also according to the whole field, picture title, picture responsible person, literature source and other search fields.
